Perhaps you’ve heard the adage “Fail to plan or plan to fail.”? Well, if your tendency to snack is sabotaging your previous day’s healthy meals, think about substitutions with healthier snacks. If you have a better alternative ready to go, you’re more likely to have pistachios than pie. Check out “Eat This, Not That” for some ideas to get you started:

Go shopping for healthy foods. Stick with the edges of the grocery store (to avoid the processed food aisles) and look up healthy recipes before you go. Explore all the possibilities for healthy diet changes and get excited to try them out!

Create a motivational wall, collage, or fridge- put it in a place you’ll see often each day. Include pictures of your goal, what it will look like to work toward that goal, and how it will feel to accomplish it. Add a vision board, your calendar, motivational quotes or affirmations, and reasons why you want to get there.
